“How can you not be romantic about baseball?”

There were few things in life that Andrew loved more than sports. To honor him, his memory and his love of sports, The Andrew C. DeMarco Foundation sponsored two little league teams this year. We sponsored the Braves of the Plainedge Youth Baseball League in Andrew’s hometown and the Angels of Wellington, FL, the team of one of Andrew’s best friend’s sons. Andrew was a diehard Atlanta Braves fan and the first team he ever played for was the Angels, so it was only fitting that his name was on the back of those jerseys. Andrew loved to quote, “how can you not be romantic about baseball?” when watching a game or when there was a special tribute, and he couldn’t have been more right. Watching his childhood friend’s coach their sons was something special. Here’s to the Braves and the Angels, PLAY BALL!
